Create a new blank database
1) Start Access.
2) Select 'New Database...' from the 'File' menu. (The New dialog box appears.)
3) Select 'Blank Database'. (The Blank Database icon is highlighted.)
4) Choose 'OK'. (The File New Database dialog box appears.)
5) Select the folder (directory) where the new database is to be saved from the 'Save in' drop-down list.
6) Enter the name for the new database in the 'File name' text box.
7) Choose the 'Create' button. (A blank new database appears on the screen.)
